3D4U is a 3D printing service that starts from one photo. Free preview, no signup; download or order a print only when you like the result.

What it makes

Four application areas matter most:

1. Pet keepsakes

A photo becomes a sculpted reproduction of a pet’s face. Keychains, magnets, wall pieces, memorial panels. In the pet market the emotional value of “photo → object” conversion is strongest.

2. Lithophanes

Thin panels printed in white PLA. Faint shading by day, a clear photograph when lit from behind. Popular as wedding favors, first-birthday gifts, and pet memorials.

3. Photo-relief panels

Wall pieces. Family photos, landscapes, even calligraphy — converted from flat images into reliefs you can touch.

4. Prenatal ultrasound 3D models

Volume reconstructed from an ultrasound. The noise profile is different from a regular photograph, so we run a dedicated compensation pipeline. The result is a keepsake “closer than a print” for expecting families.

Why no-signup free preview

3D models are hard to commit to without seeing the result. Instead of putting a signup wall up front, we let people see the outcome and self-select into the next step.

A 3D print, layer by layer, is content in itself. We are building a feature so buyers can watch their ordered model materialize in real time. Especially well-suited to occasions where the wait itself is part of the meaning — weddings, births, memorials.

Q01 What is 3D4U?

Upload one photo, and we convert it into a relief 3D model (depth-encoded shading). Preview the model for free; if you like it, download or order a print. Main applications include pet keepsakes, lithophanes (back-lit photo panels), photo-relief panels, and prenatal ultrasound 3D models.

Q02 Do I need to sign up to preview?

No. The 3D preview is free and requires no login. You only register if you want to download the model or order a print.

Q03 What is a lithophane?

Q04 How are prenatal ultrasound 3D models generated?

Our AI analyzes shading information from the ultrasound image to reconstruct volume. The same algorithm we use for general photo-relief conversion runs through an additional pipeline that compensates for ultrasound-specific noise.

Q05 Can I watch the print happen?

Live print streaming is on the roadmap. The plan is to let buyers watch their ordered model build up layer by layer, in real time.
